The government bailed a lot of "cajas de ahorro" or mini-banks with taxpayers' money and created a Frankenbank they called Bankia. One of the worst cases (and I wish Raquel had mentioned it while talking to Ángel at his bedside) was the Bankia bailout. I really wanted to get into the screen and slap her. Her list of mistakes is the worse by a long shot. broke his own rules (which is so realistic if you know the Spanish way of life). Nairobi made mistakes because she was empathetic and Berlin made mistakes because he was unable to empathize, but no one was perfect here. She made mistakes, but then again, everyone did. No one in the show is perect.Īs for emotional nature, Tokyo is the worst.

Even the Professor realized that and called Berlin on his cynicism. He didn't know Denver wouldn't kill Monica.
#Moscow money heist season 2 how to
But then again, I think the main problem was that the screenwriters didn't know how to lengthen things anymore. I would certainly have changed Tokyo for Moscow any day of the week.īerlin was good at carrying the kidnapping ahead and terrorizing hostages, but he was not perfect. So if someone deserved to die it'd have been her imho, even though I would have preferred if they all survived but that's sadly an utopia. She always acted very selfish and was kind of a bitch to everyone, especially to Nairobi. She put the groups life in danger several times, and ultimately is the reason Moscow died. No one fucked up worse than Tokyo though. So anyways, even his "greatest mistake" might have been a clever, carefully planned move. not that he'd care anyways as he was, as a I said, a total psychopath with no feeling of remorse. Berlin, being the clever psychopath that he is, knew that there was something going on between Denver and Monica, so he also probably knew that he (Denver) was never going to kill her. The hostages thought she'd be dead and that's what scared them so much. Actually, maybe even the "killing" of Monica was planned. No one even dared to do anything in his presence, he frightened them too much. While the women, Nairobi in particular, showed their emotional nature and tried to be nice to the hostages and got fucked over in the process, Berlin was more like an evil dictator, but that's why the captives respected him. The professor knew that and that's why he put Berlin in charge for the whole operation. Other than that, he is a very rational psychopath without remorse and does everything to get the job done. That's the only exception, ordering to kill Monica was a mistake, maybe. Even though she probably deserved it more than anyone else for risking everyones life so often. and for a minute we all thought she was going to die. That last kiss Tokyo and Rio had was romantic af btw.

Near the end of season 1 and especially in season 2 everything just seems to go downhill very fast. It created a really nice atmosphere and made them more human-like, relatable, revealed bits of their personal stories etc. I loved the short clips of the robbers living casually at the mansion, drinking, having fun. One of the reasons I prefered season 1 is probably because everything seemed okay for most of the season. Berlins death near the end was just a drop in the ocean for me at that point. After seeing the horrible death Oslo had to die, the way Helsinki cared for him and then had to kill him and finally Moscow being shot 3 times dying minutes before they finished digging the tunnel. I almost cried when I saw Helsinki caring for Oslo even though he was badly injured already, but that scene with Moscow just totally finished me off. The ending itself is great of course but Moscows death left a bitter aftertaste to the whole ending. Seeing Denver and even Tokyo (who is a selfish bitch, but still somewhat cute and relatable) totally shaken by his death made me cry even more, god knows why, but it was for sure the saddest moment in the entire series, and so close before the ending. I cried a bit during that scene, cause he reminds me of my own father a lot. Moscow dying ruined the whole show for me. I mean, Berlin was a raping, killing psychopath, while Moscow was a fatherly type, a really nice, honest man.
#Moscow money heist season 2 series
Just finished the series and gotta say, even though I liked the first season more, it was worth watching and I would probably watch it again.īerlins death was kind of epic, but not nearly as emotional (to me) as Moscows.
